We believe that religion is not limited to rituals and our interactions with God. It is a grounding experience that should alleviate the status of our community to continuously prosper economically, intellectually and spiritually.
Fulfilling the needs of our community and engaging our community is critical in ensuring no one is left behind and in nurturing our future generations of the Muslim community.
The recent pandemic and the rise of digitalisation has further widened the gap, increasing demands for us to serve more members of our community, be it locally or internationally.
With that, we want to upgrade our premises at 14 Jalan Selamat to meet the current as well as future needs of our Muslim community.
This project will cost $6 million, and we welcome you to support our mission and be part of our story.

Sadaqah jariyah or a continuous charity is a good deed that will benefit people for generations to come and in turn, will continue benefiting you in this life and the next insya Allah
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, among the good deeds that will join a believer after his death are these: knowledge which he taught and spread, a righteous child he leaves behind, a copy of the Quran he leaves for inheritance, a mosque he has built, a house he built for travelers, a well he has dug, and charity distributed from his wealth while he was alive and well. These deeds will join him after his death.”

Our Existing Premise
Built in 1985, the Muhammadiyah Centre located at 14 Jalan Selamat was a centre of knowledge to more than 15,000 students from kindergarten, primary and secondary madrasah as well as college graduates.
This is where young children get to know Islam and learn to read the Qur’an. This is where families get together to perform their obligatory prayers, have iftar together or attend religious talks to understand the religion better. This is where we share what we have with those in need. This is where the community unites, to bring benefit to all.

for us to extend our reach and spread the message across the globe through virtual means
Multi-purpose Hall
in the added fourth floor, for events, seminars or forums for up to 150 attendees.
Bigger office for staff
to accomodate up to 50% more manpower to serve the community
Energy-saving facilities
such as solar roof panels for cost and energy savings. More funds can be directed towards our welfare activities.
Better shelter
around our periphery for the convenience and comfort of our visitors on rainy or hot days
