Projek Sinar Ihsan – Fostering Agency

Muhammadiyah Association was officially appointed as the fifth Fostering Agency by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in 2019 to grow foster care in the community. Together with other community partners and MSF, we want to bring the important message of the need for foster care to our community, and encourage more families to step forward to care for these children in need.

Muhammadiyah Health & Day Care Centre (MHCC)

Muhammadiyah Health & Day Care Centre (MHCC) provides community-based healthcare, daycare and rehabilitation programmes for the elderly suffering from post-stroke conditions, Parkinson’s disease, post-amputation, arthritis and rheumatism. Since its inception, MHCC has been providing rehabilitation services to our elderly clients through physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

Welfare Assistance for Families In-need

Muhammadiyah Association provides welfare assistance to at least 500 families per year.

Muhammadiyah Welfare Home (MWH)

Muhammadiyah Welfare Home (MWH) is a children’s’ Home that provides shelter and 24/7 residential care and protection for boys between the ages of 10 and 19 years. Appointed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and gazetted under the Children and Young Persons Act Cap 38, the boys consist of those who are neglected, abused or homeless; are juvenile offenders and those beyond parental control.

The Welfare Department of Muhammadiyah is always ready to extend our Jenazah Services to all Muslims in Singapore. We provide holistic services from retrieval to burial, in accordance to the Sunnah practices of the Prophet Rasulullah ﷺ.
